Walters Bar, Hull

A modern and stylish bar with a relaxing atmosphere for 'adults'. A refreshing contrast to other (albeit equally good) bars on a saturday night 'round 'Old Town'

The Ship Inn, Dunswell

Popped in one sunday afternoon. Too late to try the food. Carpark to rear. Cosy, local feel, friendly staff. Wish it was our local village pub!

Ye Olde White Harte, Hull

Definitely one of the best pubs in Hull. Two passageway entrances - lead you from the cobbled streets to a gorgeous little courtyard with heat lamps. Pub is long and very narrow with two bars and two coal fires. Always packed out but get served quickly. Attracts a nice crowd. Good atmosphere, especially in summer.

Ye Olde Black Boy, Hull

Oldie-worldy pub split into two rooms. Located down one of the cobbled streets in the 'old town'. Not as busy at it used to be but still quirky and cosy. Surprisingly expensive.

Three John Scotts, Hull

Extremely popular 'Spoons pub. Nice decor, quite spacious but always packed out on a Saturday night. Sometimes waiting too long to get served.

The William Wilberforce, Hull

Lloyds is Wethersoons pub, quite large over two levels. DJ on a saturday night (usually modern tunes with some old skool). Good atmosphere - attracts a mixture of ages, but more of a younger crowd compared to some other 'old town' pubs. Service seems to have improved (have walked/staggered out in the past as been too packed out)

The Sailmakers Arms, Hull

Charming bar with courtyard, tucked away down one of our lovely little cobbled streets. Popular but quiet and never packed out - a good meeting point to start the pub crawl around the 'old town' on a saturday night!

The Manchester Arms, Hull

I love the 'Manny Arms'! Located down one of our little cobbled streets (gets quite hectic outside on a summers night). Doesn't look much but always a surprisingly good atmosphere. Always get chatting to some friendly locals by the door! Try the infamous 'Sh*t on the Grass' cocktail-short for a quid!

Durty Nelly's, Hull

Lovely bar. Recent refurb - looks fab! Proper Hull 'Old Town' bar with a modern twist. Tucked away in one of our lovely old cobbled streets. Seems to attract friendly groups of people and always get served quickly by friendly staff. Pity no more live bands on a Sat night - and still miss the oversized Connect 4!!

Courts Bar, Hull

A loud and lively bar in the 'Old Town' but usually plenty of space. Great 'little club' atmosphere, DJ and sometimes dancing on the bar. Hundreds of stairs up to the loo!

Admiral of the Humber, Hull

My fave Wetherspoons bar in Hull. Large, open pub but always seems to have a friendly, local atmosphere. Usual good value 'Spoons food and beer. Popular for all age groups. A number of tv screens for sports.
