Busy most Fridays and Saturdays when there is live music (usually Irish but look out for David Elf). Music generally starts about 9.30 till 12.30ish. Guinness is OK but I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Black Sheep last weekend. Best part of the experience is the service - no matter how busy you are never lept waiting long and the staff are always pleasant. gajb - 28 Feb 2006 16:50
As an irishman(woman)this bar was not overly cheesy and always packed on st Paddys day! But the stout needs a bit of improvment! All in all good atmosphere. twinkle_eyes - 6 Feb 2006 20:18
Pseudo Irish songs on a loop, giant Jenga and table football, nice comfy sofas at the front. Would you believe they serve Guinness? The Durty Nelly's on tap is no more unfortunately (although they might empty a drip tray into a glass for you if you're lucky) edheaded - 20 Dec 2005 17:25
