The Kings Arms, Hampton Court

Lovely pints - Tanglefoot - after popping in a few times and it not being available. Quite busy, but when the staff served you, they were were very efficient and polite. Had to stay for another...

Foresters, Hampton Wick

Goodness me, no reviews since 2009?!?! Loved the atmosphere of the place - I had been coming here fairly regular a few years ago - with some great Northern Soul. Shame that the only beer was London Pride (must say, very nice it was!), but the bar staff still on thought the Youngs Golden was still on as it was on the blackboard. She didn't see, and nor did I, that the pump it was pulled from was devoid of said pump clip. Will still give it another go...

The Swan, Hampton Wick

I concur with most of the review. Didn't think much of the new governor - seemed to be playing a bit to the people-what-would-put-people-off-coming-in. Nice pint of Spitfire, mind.

The Bell Inn, Hampton

Popped in on the off chance, as you do, and found the place very bright and open planned. Can't quitely remember what is was like before, but I liked it! Problem with the beer - poured clear but wouldn't have felt welcome gracing my chips! No problem changing the pint and the pump-clip was turned aropund immediately. Nice place...

The Masons Arms, Teddington

As the barman that both "billy" & "matty" mention I would like to clarify that two beers ran out at the same time and the choice of the word "off" is unfortunate as it could be misinterpreted as a quality issue- heaven forbid ! Great to see some of you at the Twickenham Beer Festival last week watch the Masons noticeboard for early notification of the dates for 2012 cheers !!

The Old Anchor, Twickenham

Dannysboy - as an occasional quizzer I also beleive a case of mistaken pub identity has occurred below. I can't remember seeing anyone using their blackberry or indeed any other fruit based mobile device. If anyone sees it again, tell the quiz master who I'm sure will not let this blatant disregard for fair play and sportsmanship pass-by. Failing that, ensure you are passing comment on the correct pub.

The Old Anchor, Twickenham

I am not the landlord but agree that my postings give that impression! I'm just a customer who likes a nice pub and would like to see such pubs thrive - and survive. F.Y.I. - Very good pint of St Austell's Tribute at the moment.

The Old Anchor, Twickenham

The Old Anchor is starting to get nicely busy with food being served from Wednesday evening through to Sunday - and all freshly prepared. The quiz has moved back to Thursday evenings, every two weeks and on the last visit, the guest beer was Waggle Dance.

The Roebuck, Hampton Hill

Real pub, real people, real beer and real carpet. What more can you ask for?

The Old Anchor, Twickenham

The Old Anchor is now in the very capable hands of Rachel and Barry, and they have already made their mark. Good, friendly service and fantastic Sunday lunches. Quiz nights changed to Wednesday and the guest ale at the moment is Deuchers IPA - champion beer at the GBBF a couple of years ago. Give the pub a go and show your support.
