Oddfellows Arms, Exeter

Gone back to its old name of the Oddfellows Arms looks really good with a friendly crowd. Bar staff are excellent and they are doing food too. Well worth a visit

The Hope and Anchor, Bridport

Very clean real ale and cider pub at the bottom of the High Street, beer in excellent condition and some unusual red cider on draught. Just been mentioned in the Good Pub Guide and aprt from the Witherspoons probably the best pubs to visit if you're a girlie - like what I am.

The Three Cups, Dover

At last a pub in Dover where a female can walk in and have a quiet drink with her mates. Recently changed hands and the improvement is fantastic. Beer in excellent condition

The King Arthur, Glastonbury

Great beer and a great crowd. Its nice not to get starred at when you walk into a pub. Open mic on Wednesdays and some really good bands on at the weekend.

Abbots Way, Southway

The place has been cleaned up over the past two weeks and its now got a great atmosphere. I used to be a bit wary about meeting up there in the past but its changed so much. Great new owners are looking after us all and I know they've cleaned the pipes.

The Volunteer Inn, Ventnor

It might be the smallest on the Island but its got the biggest welcome. Lovely little pub and I counted a least 8 real ales on, no wonder its in the Good Pub Guide yet again

The Vectis Tavern, Cowes

I go into the Vectis regularly and it is really well policed, I never feel threatened. Cowes week was pretty heavy and there were a lot of North Islanders aboard. Good luck to Mo & Linda its a great little pub
