Under new management. Quite a transformation with a clean up and now quite pleasent. No more dubious 'oriental ladies' or druggies.
I don't mind going in there now.

Outrageously expensive for what it is. Nice enough place, but prices too high.

Not impressed with new look. You can never tell when it's going to be open and always quiet. Entry policy uncertain and pretty much ad hoc. Sometimes a sports top is not allowed, next day it's full of them. No consistency with their policy.
Why bother with the walk if uncertain it will be open or you will be allowed in.
Don't see how they will get away with live music and club nights. Previous landlords got in a lot of trouble with the council when they did it owing to complaints from the neighbours.

The Horn, Reading
Claims to be "the Rugby pub in Reading". The place has been hijacked and football is now shown over Rugby. The only place you can be sure rugby is shown is still the Gateway.
