Not a bad pub. Came in here after watching Titanic 12 years ago and didn't go back until 2 days ago. It seems to be run by Thai people and they do Thai food. Nearly every single draught drink was off (only Fosters, I think, was on. Still, I quite liked it somehow. Nice beams. Greshon - 7 Dec 2009 11:32
Good corner location not far from Reading's central area. Attractive old wooden interior around the bar area but a little drab in other parts of the single U shaped room. Pool table to one side, to the other there is seating on distressed leather covered benches and a screen for Sky Sports, beyond that a dining area. Active, friendly bar staff, but it was very quiet when I was there in the early evening. Two handpulls, one not in use, the other badged as Bombardier but actually serving London Pride, which was flat and uninteresting but drinkable. Smiths Smooth, Fosters, 1664, Guinness and Sagres keg beers plus Strongbow and Bulmers keg ciders. anonymous - 18 Aug 2009 16:16

Bit of a strange pub that has probably seen better years. Efficient and friendly staff and the bottled Black Sheep was good value at £2.15. There were a lot of oriental girls around beholden to older English blokes, all seemed a bit sad really. Millay - 2 Feb 2009 21:35
This is an excellent pub if you're looking for somewhere to have a quiet pint or something to eat. Had the chicken breast to eat which was very nice and very good value too. Disappointed that Bombardier was the only ale available. Staff were friendly but alas the toilets were somewhat grotty. This ain't a bad pub but the only purpose you'd go here for is a bite to eat or just a chilled pint. Otherwise best go elsewhere... 7/10 wezmiester - 7 Jun 2008 18:07
