The London Pride looked like there was something living in it, I'm glad it wasn't my drink. The bar staff looked as if they really didn't care for customers having the audacity to actually want a drink, and the toilets had a very unsavoury bouquet. Other than that, it was ok. mericet - 19 May 2008 16:23
Return visit on Sunday afternoon found gents toilet covered in the previous nights barf. If that's the standard then I'm not daring to drink anything that isn't bottled. Quinno - 27 Jun 2007 23:47
Not overly impressed, my Bombadier was a bit tinny tasting and the music was pretty loud for 6pm (yes I know, Grandad alert but 6pm?!?). A number of pool tables and a decent jukebox give it some plus points, but I didn't see much to tempt me back again really. Quinno - 9 Sep 2006 00:30
My 'local'. Great place, shame Eddie's gone though. anonymous - 16 Jan 2006 12:33
Agree with some of the comments on here about the staff attitude being appalling - especially the Manager. My wife and I (with 2 young family friends) were forefully kicked out one quiet friday lunchtime for apparently sitting in an area that was closed ! Still can't quiet believe what happened (my family wouldn't say boo to a goose). Shame - this used to be my local and could be a really nice little boozer, but would suggest you tread carefully if you go here. jimmy.b1973 - 7 Jan 2006 18:16
