I have been working oversea for the last 2 years and now back in the home town of Beckenham and you know what this place has just got better. The sport coverage now must be one of the best in South London with good cold decent beer be it a pint or a bottle. The selection of bottled beer must be the best place in town. The toilets are as clean as ever. Good crowd no young chavs and thank God no attitude like next door in O Neils. Excellent door policy and when the football is on they do not tolerate the lemonade and coca cola gang, who the drink the melting ice and take up space, watch the ice melt, suck the bubbles , all in 2 hours. A good example of this is one of the last postings, NJ201, I was there she was ordered a tap water, lets set the record straight, HOW RUDE CAN SHE BE.
Good variety of music on the weekends and excellent staff, you dont wait too long here to get served no matter how busy.
Great place for a good drink, no kids, good doormen and tv in the beer garden, quality.
Patrick is a top bloke and always makes you feel welcome, thank God all the trash and cheap skates go to O Neils, just makes this place better, typical example one of the last posts NJ2010

Went here this weekend and it is a great place it sucks of attitude, full of happy white powder and scum, god help the world, they encourage your life style and let it all go on, dont care, then as we left the doormen had beat the life out of some scum bag who had been in there, police everwhere, ambulance the lot, god help the world, there is one great thing about his place all the scum from the locality congregate here ! its only a matter of time before its langtrys trash again, it actually alredy is, tota; scum trash chav wanna be venue, honestly

We visited cheers on thursday 11th about 10pm , a large group of us, all very happy, proper 80's people out for a beer and a laugh.
The service in here is absolutley terrible, it is so bad i cannot believe its true.
the choice of beers and shots is well below average, basically non existent
the place is full of pervy eastern europeans, so its not a place to take your wife or partner.
if it was the last place in the world to drink i think i would give drinking a miss
the bar staff chew gum as they serve and talk to you ! well done management

Being very honest we weree standing at the bottom of regent strret trying to decide where we would go, we decided to go in here as we were heading in the direction here we were set up by the the sleazy crew trying to get our business and get us inside, i found them such a pain in the arse, they said free in and free this free that, but anyway despite all that the 9 pretty women and 3 blokes in our crew we went to the door and all then changed !! the 3 touts gathered around us and it was now a fiver in for everyone the put the red rope around us so we could not escape, well let me assure you of one thing we all turned on our heels and walked away from this slease hole
it was worth ever penny just to see their faces drop and then the ycame begging after us

nice place, relaxed, no idiots, good cold beer, clean toilets, good provider of a range of sports on tv,various plasma screens and big screens, the bar staff are good you dont have to wait long for a drink even when it is really busy, also the staff are pleasant and female staff attractive. i have had a few sunday roasts and they were pleasing to the stomach. irish owned and run, not one of the fakes, well done
