Went in only cos it was raining.
Horrible group of loud mouthed gorillas at the bar.
God help whichever pub they end up in when this place closes.
Can't comment on the beer as didn't finish it -couldn't stomach the place. Preferred to risk my hairdo in the rain than have a second.

It's okay but tiny hence you dont need many in to get a bit of atmosphere.
It's usually quiet and not open much or very busy.
Downstairs is a bit creepy, especially for girls. My advice go in pairs

I have also witnessed Dermot being a little aggressive to people re drinking outside - apparently he has some stroppy neighbours who complain.
A very nice pub with a sensible middle aged clientele.
Food good and fresh if a little unexciting.

PS.
Always get very well looked after by Mark and Louisa -very hospitable (even when we struggled to use the cigarette machine).
Why is it the people who are nice about the pub write in proper sentences and those who moan about this pub can't spell or punctuate properly...is this a reflection on sophistication

The girls and i like this pub - it is always pleasant, fun & the wine, beer and food are excellent. Service is efficient and friendly, music is good.
Can't believe there are negative views, the QD is a gem.
We represent the younger part of the clientele (I am 27, my friends are 26, 29 and 32) and WE ALL LOVE THE BLACK & WHITE PHOTOS. Guvnor, ignore old fashioned drinkers who don't go out or spend too much time in gay bars.

The Anglers, Teddington
The garden and river are wonderful.
They also have the captive audience of the river otherwise they would struggle.
The service is appallingly slow, there never seems to be anyone in charge, the food is slow, over priced and mediocre.
