The White Horse Inn, Beverley

I have always loved this place. Can't fault it for the beer, atmosphere and people.
A brilliant student watering hole that's like cheese, it matures with age.

The Roadhouse, Covent Garden

I liked this place, even if it was only for the fact the cocktails were cheap and the ribs smelled great. (I also like Harley's, and having one behind the bar always gets extra Brownie points from me!)
The ladies toilets also have freebies and sweets in bowls you can take,

The Punch And Judy, Covent Garden

I thought this place was ok, but then its aimed at the office workers who like to sip their Pimms on a Friday afternoon.
I managed to get a table and a drink in under 10 minutes, which for a Friday afternoon was pretty good going!

The Victoria, Hornsea

The best pub in Hornsea now (from a cleanliness point of view anyway. The staff are inconsistent and do only smile at the regulars, but the food is fairly good, its not too noisy and you don't get hoards of young drunken teenagers in it (which is always a bonus!) The drink is ok and on par pricewise.

The New Inn, Hornsea

This place has also had its day. Back before is was refurbed it was a great and bustling little boozer, then after its refit it did survive (just) but since it has been under a managership its terrible. Dirty tables, smelly toilets, cigarette ends all over the floor out at the front and no real cozy feeling. It's not been the same since Stella & Richard left (god rest his soul).

The Alexandra, Hornsea

After living here for over 30 years I can honestly say this pub has gone to the dogs.
Its not clean, friendly or inviting. Since John (without the 'tache) owned it (late 80's/early 90's) its never been the same. A shame as it was popular in the 50's as it was the first port of call after getting off the train.

The Cross Keys, Hammersmith

If you are looking for a good old fashioned pub, with friendly staff, good beer and clean glasses, then look no further! By far one of the best pubs in Hammersmith, and sometimes frequented by a TV celeb or two (just don't bother him to ask him to recommend a good car- he might tip his Fullers over you!)
