Great looking pub in a nice area of London.
Nice inside and good range of beers and wines.

Food is expensive. Trying to be gastro. Hit and miss.
one night they ran out of most of the things i chose at 8pm. Pretty poor.

Service is the one thing that lets it down in a big way. If anything is asked of staff. Watch the barriers go up.

Question on the lack of main courses at 8pm. he replied im just the waiter, what can I do.

Considering our table was spending around £100 on food and drink, i would have expected a little more

As always, people only seem to write in about places if they have a gripe. This is a really excellent pub, especially for those who remember it as it was before the refurbishment. Food is EXCELLENT and the staff friendly on the whole. The number of people filling what is quite a large space testify to the popularity of the place.

this pub lacks soul and would be better described as a dentist's waiting room. staff are pretty good if your lucky enough to grab one's attention. MFI are rubbing there hands with glee after offloading that shoddy decking and the less said about the food the better. the only saving grace is the quality of the ales. sort it out manager we want more life more fun and to have to pay a little less for it.

The food is overpriced for what it is, and the service is shoddy.
The pub has gone downhill, it use to be a great place to chill out, with great pub food. I won't be going back there in a hurry!

Plenty of room, some nice seats near the fireplace. Food/drink is overpriced, service isn't always pleasant. It has the feel of a pub that is ripping you off.
