Sports bar not a pub? I was served the worst pint of ale I've ever had in my life in this pub, I sent it back to find there were no other ales on sale :( - Also be aware that the pub charges on the door for sporting events. This pub is OK if you like larger and sport on screens in every corner I suppose, but this is not a pub in the traditional sense and I won't be returning. AndyOne - 20 May 2012 09:53
Very good sports venue. Does the full range of Brains beer and also a Brains dark stout which if you ever find yourself in this pub you should try. Scotsaledrinker - 5 May 2012 09:52
Standard, albeit very big, sports pub. Unexpected Welsh influence (Brains beer on tap) the main interest.tI curioushistory - 7 Jan 2012 23:40
Large drinking hall next to West Kensington tube station. Had a few ales on, tried the Brains SA which wasn't up to a lot as it's more a lager circuit style haunt. Most comments seem to concentrate on the service and the television sports - rather apt as the ale does seem to take second place. Snarling_Mallard - 18 Oct 2010 22:13
Having visited this pub a couple of times over the last few years to watch various sporting events I thought it might be somewhere good to watch the rugby. A few of us went on Saturday to watch the opening games of the 6-nations and were thouroughly disappointed. The pub was busy, as expected, but very dark and dingy with a lack of fresh air - standing room only with groups giving no consideration to other people around them. Queuing at the bar was taking 30 minutes with many disgruntled drinkers venting their frustrations so not a venue I would recommend to anyone for big sport games. This is a pity as a few years ago I remember this place being quite good for such occasions. Mad123 - 8 Feb 2010 13:32
