One of the only traditional pubs left in darlington, the food was very good on my visit, can't go wrong for beer and pint at just under a fiver.

Quiet pint in the Tanners Dell72??? When do you go? Try Sat eve , it's a seething mass of Skerne Park hardcases getting lashed up ready for action. Quaint decor; brains and blood.

I must say, it'salways the place i start when i'm down town.. the drinks are just too cheap to refuse.

The only drawback is you may get a few drunk old men dribbling over your shoulder telling you how they're your best mate and end up telling you their whole life story.

The food's not bad. Cleanliness is much to be desired and well, the staff aren't exactly jumping for joy and most times think they're ontheir fag break (very slow).

But if you wanna cheapo drink before a night on the town, then i'd say a must.

CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE REFURB!!! Def need it!

Honestly, it's worth getting a better job just to be able to afford to drink somewhere else. If you can't do that, drink at home.

Dire.
