Why o why did I go in? I was a bit pissed. They'd run out of beer on a fri night, how basic is that? Music was good thou

Dirty, overpriced travisty of a pub. Ran by people who are far happier hiding in the back room than they are of serving their warm flat beer and larger. The pub has recently gone into the "cocktail" market but does'nt actually employ anyone who could spell it. Has DJ's whose only qualification is that they can work a smoke machine and a cleaner who I can only suppose died a number of years ago and still has'nt been replaced. Take a look at the toilets.....lovely!And watch out for the fat boy's behind the bar doing a carefully rehearsed inpromptu dance to YMCA. Girl's your in for a treat!

I really dont think you can call this a pub at all. It's an over-excited excuse for a dancefloor. Although an excellent idea, Flares has been around since the ice-age.

The prices are absolutely radiculous and you do not get what you pay for once inside.
I bought a dbl bacardi coke and dbl vodka lemonade three times in one night and payed three different prices ranging from a fiver to over 8 quid. And by that time of night i was too palatic to even cause a stir.

The floors are sticky, the air conditioning units often leak and well... there's not much there. If you're up for a cheesy ten minutes, then i'd reccomend a look in, however i wouldnt recomend spending any money (overpriced). You get bombarded in the streets by FLARES ballon -(scantily-clad) girls. You get the sticker and then think, yeh! sounds a laugh... cheery girls who just wanna have fun! but really Each night you get the same set of songs in nearly the same order, he DJ doesnt really 'DJ' but just plays the songs, the bar staff put all their effort in to pretending they're all happy and well..... I wouldn't say its anything special.
