Great pint of Westerham Grasshopper, nice meal. Staff talkative and friendly

Free wi-fi, good beer, brilliant staff, probably the best pub on the Wharf and certainly the best chain pub. The recent-ish refurbishment has improved the place massively and apart from a Friday night when it's a meat market it doesn't tend to get too busy so you can enjoy a pint

By far the best chain pub around Canary Wharf, busy at 17:00 yesterday but not absurdly so. Mixed range of clientele, not too many boy bankers around [they seemed to be outside the All Bar One]. As there was a cider festival on tried a couple of these rather than beer. Possibly a better beer range available when they're not concentrating on ciders. Realised I hadn't been here since the first month it opened, ten years ago!

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Had a refurbishment since I last visited here and it actually looks quite good, In some of the side rooms you actually wouldn't think you were in a 'spoons! Relatively quiet on a Wednesday night, got served at the bar quickly with a decent range of real ales on offer at £2.69 a pint. Food wasn't bad and since the refurb service seems to have improved (placed in front of you rather than thrown). Probably the best pub in CW if you want a quiet drink and a chat (Friday nights may be a different case altogether though).

An unusually low building for a dockland setting, appearing somewhat inconspicuous from a distance compared with the former warehouses nearby and tower blocks beyond. In fact, if looking for the place in the late afternoon/early evening you will probably hear all the customers outside in the large patio area first. However, as you approach the hubbub, the historic facade with its grand portico awaits... Once inside, the refurbishment is a curious mixture of heritage and modern, and the decor of the main bar and side rooms gives the place a distinctly cool feel. The toilets are feature too, but I could without the creepy attendants. Fifteen handpumps on the bar, but with some duplicate clips there was still a decent offering of about 10 real ales and ciders. Beer quality is fine, and the prices unbeatable for Canary Wharf (e.g. guest ales such as Nethergate Essex Border at £2.40).
