Service in this place is absolutely dire. Not because the bar is short - it must be 10m length in total - but it gets ridiculously packed on Thursdays and Fridays without the staff on board to cope. Drinks are as pricey as you will find in West India Quay and the house music they play on Thursday nights is pedestrian at best. Nice loos though. I am a 'Wharf worker and only come here when someone's made the poor choice of holding their leaving do here.

I like this place, its neither too posh nor too common, usually plays pretty funky music but not too loud so you can still hold a conversation without screaming! They have a decent selection of beers - draught and bottled - so if you're into trying new things, or are an accomplished beer drinker there is bound to be something for you. Bottles of Pawel Kwak are good and they serve them up in what looks like something from a science lab (you'll see what i mean if you get one!). Prices are fairly high, but not any more or less than anywhere else in the Wharf - not counting Wetherspoons, but if you like that then you dont deserve to go into 1802!

Prices were not too bad, however bar staff were atrocious with serving times, but they were very friendly when they eventually saw to your needs. Fairly busy in here with all the suits on a Friday night, but imagine it will be dead at weekends shall have to pop back and check it out!

Another Canary Wharf bar with simply ludicrous prices, but this place is the most ludicrous of the lot! No decent beer on draught, had two half-pint bottles of I believe Landlord in here once which worked out to £6 a pint!! Often has a chinless DJ which no-one takes an interest in. The place is full of apprentice tossers, learning their trade before they become fully-fledged tossers and move on to Bar 38. I'd rather drink out of the dock than in here.

Another place I shouldn't like, but I do. You get the impression 1802 wants to be too cool for school - and a lot of the customers definitely want to be too cool for school. But the fact is - this is a nice, slick place to go for a beer (there's a lot of strong continental stuff on sale). The staff are friendly, the customers are a lot more pleasant than they think they are, the beer is strong and cold, and the surroundings are busy but never stupidly packed. A great place to go with the missus or on a date - they're happy because it's smart and you've made the effort, you're happy because it's pleasant and sells the sauce to get you commendably inebriated whilst gaining brownie points for the choice of venue.
