| Went in for a couple while waiting for a curry from next door. Pleasantly impressed, as Wetherspoons these days are, on the whole, pretty poor. A decent couple of pints, decent price, quick service and somewehere to sit once you can get your head around the strange layout. It's still a Wetherspoons, but you could do worse in Aber. | Your average Wetherspoons really, lots of decent beers at good prices. This one has the advantage of being on the station with a nice outside bit practically on the platform - so you get to watch the train come in every two hours! the_seeker - 14 Aug 2010 18:25 |
| Whilst the beer was fine when served, arriving at 1130 I had to wait in an orderly queue for a good 15 minutes whilst one person served coffees and breakfasts. Another bar person was wandering around aimlessly and not serving. I commented to the bar person who said "Its more like Starbucks in the morning", and the chap behind me said it is always like this. i suppose thats the price of paying £1.95 per pint!!!
