user reviews of the Ravensbury Arms, Mitcham

Really nutty girl working behind the bar, but very nice. Food was ok - portions a bit small. My daughter said her tortelloni was a bit flabby with too much sauce. I told her to shut up and eat it.

I really like the Ravensbury - I started going there over the past six months or so, and have been really impressed with the nice and friendly bar staff.
Before I knew it better, I thought it looked like it was going to be a bit rough, but its not at all.
I havent eaten there yet, so cant comment on the food.
I was in there on NYE, and we were given a few free rounds throughout the night, champagne and cigars at midnight, and had a really good time.

Been here a few times now. It's a nice pub, shame its in the middle of a main road. Not easy to get their if you don't drive.
HUGE beer garden gerat for the summers, really comfy non-smoking area, nice sofas etc. Some things need a few touch ups, but they just got a new manager, so maybe things will change for the better. Quiz nights on tues and sun are popular too!
Typical Ember decore and menu.
OVERALL: A NICE PUB FOR A QUIET RELAXED DRINK

My wife and I visited this pub for the Christmas Special Menu on Wednesday 15th December. We are both and our seventies and have eaten all over the world and this was the worst restaurant meal we have ever had. The cold first course toook 45 minutes to come and was not what was on the menu. The main course was awful: flooded with gravy: small poorly cooked vegetables and turkey that was sliced many days before the meal and pre-packed. Never again.

Nice pub with nice staff - especially the girl who usually reads the questions on the Sunday quiz night (hot!) 2 fruit machines, no smoking area plus various board games scattered about. Good selection of drinks too. Recommended.
