| Went back to the pub last Saturday night for their Ghost Hunt...BRILLIANT NIGHT.. really genuine scary !!. Great as well because in the middle of the night we had homemade cakes and hot chocolate.I'm booked in for the next one March 1st!!. Pub has great Xmas atmosphere (very victorian) and as for the log fires, real ones !! well brilliant..I'm well made up there sitting by one of the fires great homemade meal and drink in hand a bit like being at home really. | Great pub with great staff, a safe family pub with loads of genuine character. I've been in for their live music and it's very varied have to say I was impressed. I've booked in to their LIVE GHOST HUNT this saturday haven't got the faintest idea what it's about but everyone sys how haunted it is . | Was out of my area today Xmas shopping and needed refreshments!!!! went into The Dolphin and you could have knocked me down with a feather.... it was brilliant, a genuine olde worlde pub,they even had a piano player and 2 real log fires. We stopped for lunch brilliant homemade food and a good price too. I was so pleased I asked for the manager and got the owner (who is also the cook), having said my thanks and praising the pub I was invited to look around it's really old (it's got a real hotel bit too). Ellie and Katie the owners have done a great job, brilliant pub, brilliant food, great atmosphere. We'll definitly be going back before Xmas littledolly - 11 Dec 2007 23:33 |
