| Went here on Monday and was pleasantly surprised that the main courses of food the three of us had (roast lamb, scampi, vegetarian curry) were all under £10. The service was excellent, good range of beers, and super views of the river. | Visited this pub just before christmas, food average & small portions for the price, and at £13.50 for a bottle of house plonk it's over priced. It does'nt deserve the reputation that it has, won't be returning. minotaur - 7 Feb 2010 18:35 |
| Had a meal with the friends I am staying with here, it was the only place they would take me for food! Little bit pricey on both beer and food but the quality did justify that. Also has b&b so maybe on my next visit? Lovely view outside. pale_ale4 - 5 Feb 2010 14:13 |
