| Beers not to bad locals are all friendly but the pub itselfs bit of a bland boring place to go. Watched the england game in there few weeks ago when everyone was in good spirit but most of the time its a pretty depressing place to be. | I had a nice couple of pints of Fosters in here on Friday whilst the Gold Cup was on. There were 2 old couples sitting by the dart board tucking into some pub food, which they seemed to enjoy. The rest of the small pub was seating a rag tail band of afternoon gamblers who were in good spirits watching the racing. This is a run-of-the-mill old mans pub… Nothing special. | A few of us popped in here just after Christmas and found it very pleasant. Not many in there so a quiet pub but service and regulars at the bar were friendly.
