Found out about this pub on Fullers website under "Pubs for sale". I've been looking to buy another pub and as it has a car park and ample space inside to serve food., i thought i'd take a look. The 1st thing i noticed in the car park was that about 6 spaces were full, a few vans. Got me thinking a few builders finish their day. Good trade i thought. Got inside and noone in there? No menus for food? The london pride was good but at 7.30pm on a tuesday, you would at least have a few meals served and a few beers being sold. I won't be trying to buy this pub. I reckon Fullers might need someone new running this place temporarily from the above comments. He's obviously killing it! PaulKersey - 21 Jun 2011 21:44
Serves a decent pint of Fullers London Pride and good home cooked food. Real ales are well under £3 pint. Does a BBQ/Hog Roast on St. Georges Day 23 April 2011. Good to see a Landlord striving to get this pub back to its former glory days. mim - 23 Mar 2011 19:20
went in this pub for the first time & what a lovely atmosphere it has,i didn't know anyone but was included in the conversations with the locals & the bar staff. Being of the older generation i find it hard to find a pub that i feel comfortable in but glad i tried this one with a mixture of people of all ages. luckyheather - 11 Apr 2010 19:33
