Glad to see you're all right. Charming young couple running it and back to the standards it once had. Got to get down there for a sunday lunch now....! BobBoiston - 12 Mar 2008 18:08
Under the new management this pub is back on track. Nice furnishings and lighting inside are completed by the open fire. Beers are always in good condition and there is more choice. Food is reasonably priced and I enjoyed my meal. Nice beer garden with a shelter for us smokers to keep cover under during the worst of the weather. Overall this is high on my list of local pubs. tialtnga - 20 Feb 2008 16:10

Went to the Six Bells on Sunday 18th, really impressed. Like previous comment, carvery was excellent, staff were really friendly and the fire was definatly a plus for the pub. The back room looks completly different, its now a dining room, hardly recognised it. There Christmas menu looks really good and have since booked our staff meal there. Not into real ales myself so can't comment on them. Overall i would say the new owners are doing a really good job...Well done anonymous - 20 Nov 2007 20:46
The pub has changed hands recently and they’re definitely putting their mark on the place. The menu is very good with a wide choice and there are also about three or fours hand pull bitters. We were in there on Sunday – friendly atmosphere, lovely open fire and an excellent carvery. Traditional pub at it’s best. anonymous - 13 Nov 2007 21:31
