Have just had a lovely Sunday lunch with all the family. There is something for everyone on the menu.Having read the Oct 3rd comment I can only say that I wish my school dining room had been anything like this place !!!!!!!!! anonymous - 28 Oct 2007 19:33
Very very good pub. Excellent food, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Will be back! goldengranny - 28 Oct 2007 19:23
If you want to treat yourself you can do a LOT worse. Food is brilliant and fish is amazing (better than Loch Fyne!). Nearly all the staff are from overseas, they are all unfailingly very cheerful and very efficient. Nice bar if you just fancy a quiet, classy drink as well BobBoiston - 22 Oct 2007 20:52
Party of four of us found the food and the service very average and the decor reminded me of a school dining room, The echo from the hard wood floor did not help.Pleasant enough but will not be rushing back. anonymous - 3 Oct 2007 17:26
I must agree with Littlecon, the tea was very nice and the steak I had was superbly cooked. The portions are quite good and the service was very swift. If you like cheese, I can recommend the cheese board, 4 different cheeses, grapes, apple, nuts etc. My only critisism would be that its a little warm, I never saw any aircon, but it would be most welcome. Food was not cheap, but you get what you pay for. anonymous - 23 Jun 2007 23:19
