| Recently visited this run down, boring pub. The food was over priced and bland; as were the hotel rooms. The staff were very rude, especially the 'barmaid' with big teeth. The staff have given this pub a bad name. I would never go here again and if I ever need to stay in Hook again, It will be in The White Hart Hotel which is a much better choice. | We recently spent a night at The Raven. The reception staff were very helpful & friendly, the room was comfortable and clean and breakfst was buffet style and very good quality. Either we stayed at a different Raven Hotel to the other reviewers or the place has had a major overhaul. | HAve not actually stayed at the hotel, but have used the bar. I found a few of the staff to be unfriendly. Good entertainment when they have a disco ad themed nights though anonymous - 28 Oct 2007 14:48 |
| Stopped here recently on our way to Heathrow. Despite there being only a couple of other customers, our food order took a full hour to arrive. It was nice when it eventually turned up, though. Pubgrabber - 24 Feb 2007 15:52 |
