Went there recently after over a year's absence. Gone is the Hardy and Hanson Mild hence gone is any reason to go there. A "nothing" pub. (That is if you can still call it a pub)

Not really a pub, more of a house masquerading as one. If you are passing by, keep walking; you'll thank me for it

Coming in here has been a waste of time since the dawn of time itself! This hole was born in the belly of a collapsing White Dwarf star which itself had engulfed a galaxy known as 'Shit Pint', where the people of that galaxy specialised in shit pints of beer. It got caught in the space time vortex and was pulled through onto this little corner of Coventry by a gypsy magician during one of the fairs held on Hearsall Common. And now you know the truth.

This was the first pub visited on a recent crawl, and I wandered up and down looking at the pump clips, saw a Greene King IPA only on offer and walked out. I did not want to start my crawl with that one in a Hardy and Hansons pub. All the while I was there, the staff showed no inclination to serve me either.

Tried to give it a reprieve the other day and found out that it now comes under the control of the Greene King emporium (they bought Hardy's and Hanson's) and has their awful IPA on hand-pull. This was the only real ale available. Needless to say I walked out and went elsewhere.
