This place has been taken over in the last couple of years and I would definitely recommend a visit now. Food and drink are pretty good but above all you'll get a friendly welcome.

Went there recently after over a year's absence. Gone is the Hardy and Hanson Mild hence gone is any reason to go there. A "nothing" pub. (That is if you can still call it a pub)

Not really a pub, more of a house masquerading as one. If you are passing by, keep walking; you'll thank me for it

Coming in here has been a waste of time since the dawn of time itself! This hole was born in the belly of a collapsing White Dwarf star which itself had engulfed a galaxy known as 'Shit Pint', where the people of that galaxy specialised in shit pints of beer. It got caught in the space time vortex and was pulled through onto this little corner of Coventry by a gypsy magician during one of the fairs held on Hearsall Common. And now you know the truth.

This was the first pub visited on a recent crawl, and I wandered up and down looking at the pump clips, saw a Greene King IPA only on offer and walked out. I did not want to start my crawl with that one in a Hardy and Hansons pub. All the while I was there, the staff showed no inclination to serve me either.
