This place has been taken over in the last couple of years and I would definitely recommend a visit now. Food and drink are pretty good but above all you'll get a friendly welcome.

I agree this place is pricey, but for the now almost unique atmosphere I'd say it's worth it. Yes there are loads of pubs in the area, but this one is still the best.
