Always been a good bet to go to from Victoria station. Simply a nice, proper working, friendly pub.

This pub is closed, all day, on Saturdays and Sundays.

Agree this is a fairly unremarkable pub except for its notoriety. At 9.45pm on the night of 7th November 1974, a distressed and bloodstained woman burst into the bar. She was the Countess of Lucan, who had fled from her home at number 46, leaving behind her three children.

The London Pride was ok and food reasonable for Belgravia but there are better pubs around in a fairly 2thin" area of good pubs.

Fairly reasonable, but unremarkable, pub close to Victoria Station. My visit was noteworthy only for a rather abysmal pint of Pride and a sighting of the England Rugby player, Brian Moore, at the bar.

Another "first" for me. Previous reviews persuaded me to try it.On walking up the street towards the pub, the place looked absolutely full as there were twenty or thirty people out on the pavement enjoying their drinks in the evening sunshine. However, there was plenty of room inside and my friend and I even got a seat. Friendly bar-staff and a pleasant atmosphere made this a good first pub of a mini-crawl for us, so much so that we stayed for a second pint instead of moving on.
