Agreed - great pub. Never been on one of the music nights and I can't for the life of me figure out where the band would go as there just isn't room for them! Still, the place strikes me as one of those pubs where people don't mind being squeezed in as the people there are all ace. Suprisingly nice beer garden too. Also, where else in London do you get told to find a table and they'll bring the drink over to you when its ready - even if you're not a regular - nice touch.

Great pub. Why?

1). I never really believed that stuff about Guinness tasting better from one place to the other. Well, this pub proved me wrong. Great Guinness.

2). You order your drink and bar staff ask you to take a seat and bring it over!

3). Totally unique pub.

4). Live Irish music is a hit.

Proper pub! Bar staff seem to run on Rural Irish time in the week but thats part of the charm I reckon. Guiness is ace and I nearly always get chatting to someone. Much better than the 3 Crowns...

Great little pub, and I mean little!! It does stretch back a bit. Lovely panelled interior, great beers, friendly and efficient bar staff, various football matches on different screens, and fantastic beer garden. You really can't lose.

The only nearly proper pub on Church Street, the rest just lack something and I'm not just blaming the trendies like everyone else.
