I met my daughter in here last night, the Young's bitter was good but the language coming from where the table is was horrendous and none of the staff felt the need to have a word, I didn't see the new landlord/lady. We nipped to the Windsor instead which had a much more refinded and comfortable atmosphere. I suppose that's pool tables for you.

This pub potentially has it all now. The saloon bar on all three levels has been painted & refurbished in a comfortable dark colour. The public bar is lively & there is a separate pool & darts room, just off the public bar. It has a serving hatch to the public bar, so it still feels part of the pub. The Youngs beer was on good form last night.

One complaint - the Chelsea goons singing in the public bar

This place s on the way back up! It's taken 10 years but finally there is a landlord and landlady team worthy of this fine building. It's becoming a proper pub again - fantastic!

Innocuos. It was empty at 7 o'clock where as the The Little Winsor was wall to wall. Sign of the times I suppose.

had a very nice evening in here last night,havent been in for 3 years,nice bar staff and lovely cosy refurb.will use this place more often,well done.
