Pleased to report that this Saturday there were two very friendly bar girls (Alex and Yohanna) who could both mix a good cocktail. The bar man was a jovial chappy too.

Extremely stroppy service from the barmaid on Saturday afternoon has meant that this is no longer one of my preferred bars. The bar was not busy, but our order for two drinks was met with rudeness and aggression. We were sober and polite. Bar staff should be too.

The previous reviews sum this place up quite nicely. Cocktails and shooters were good. Bar staff varied from friendly to stroppy. Clientele included more women than men,and some very attractive ones at that. Lighting subdued; vibe cool.

Particularly inviting for a clandestine afternoon cocktail. Must respond to bikingtiger - Islington is full of great bars and pubs - but very few of them are on Upper Street.

Nice little bar, this. And there aren't many in Islington you can say that about. Good atmosphere, comfortable if you can get a seat, and food's OK for snacks.
