| It was a shame to lose the "Erewash" and I wasn't sure about changing the layout and losing the 2-room set-up but it seems to have worked very well. It's been decked out nicely and is certainly much smarter than the Erewash ever was. They've got involved with some local brewers and so there is normally some great ale available as well. | An enterprising refurb a few years ago, the pub has remained reasonably smart, with a good choice of beers (including a 'Locale'), and good quality food at reasonable prices. The Sunday lunch is well worth trying, but it's best to book. sidderney - 14 Dec 2009 20:20 |
