| Switch is a great place to see celebrities. I saw Jade Goody from Big Brother and she was very polite, Is she related to the old lady who works at Wood's Fish n Chip shop? raoulduke - 21 Dec 2007 21:19 |
| Nice place to go at lunch to have quiet drink and to read the paper. Staff are lovely and polite. offthewagon07 - 24 Nov 2007 13:51 |
| no longer called jets, it's had a refurb and it's now called click bar (clique would have been more appropriate). looks nice from the outside, but rest assured, it's still full of orange-coloured people listening to rubbish music at a deafening level. the only thing this bar has going for it is the wing sing chinese take away opposite. bland, really bland. come on people, when did we settle for second best? | persuaded to go in here a few weeks ago on a friday night.. what a load of crap! its dark so you cant even see past your noise, the point being?? dodgy music and no, I repeat NO atmosphere. people with long faces that look you up and down to see what your wearing as you enter. Small, crap and just....crap jas12 - 26 May 2007 20:37 |
| Bar has been refurbished. Cleaner looking inside, they have moved the bar too I think - makes the space look bigger. Wicker has all gone - now some reasonably comfy Habitat-like chairs. Same clientele as before though. Staff were quite helpful and polite, I imagine there are bars/pubs a bit better and a bit worse nearby - so targetted to attract the MOR crowd - and seem to be doing quite well on it. adamsant - 17 Jul 2006 16:27 |
