| Definitely wouldn't come here out of choice. Strange atmosphere, doesn't have the nice 'pubby' feel I like and it has the most dingy restaurant I've ever known. The food is O.K, but nothing spectacular. Although I must say that they do sell good ale. youngpubfan - 10 Aug 2011 12:05 |

| Recently changed hands and been revamped. Bar area is now lighter and less oppressive, but the restaurant is still dark and depressing with few windows; and although we were seated at a table with a window, the view from it was of a very scruffy area. Restaurant staff don't have much of a clue how to treat customers and showed little or no interest. Not so much as a goodbye or thank you as we left. Food was uninspiring, portions small.
