| Easily the best pub in West Bay. Friendly service, clearly well cared for, with a smattering of locals which the other pubs don't have (always look for the pub locals go to when visiting seaside towns, as they usually know best!). I'm slightly concerned about giving too much praise, in case the great unwashed discover the place. | Palmers beer in excellent condition. The pub has a beer garden and a small but pleasant main bar area, the rest of the pub being arranged for food (tables decently spaced). There is a strong emphasis on the food, which is (in my opinion) overpriced at 12-15 quid a main, but this is a tourist area so fair enough. Bar service was excellent on my two visits, food service less so (had to wait while a glass of wine I'd ordered sat on the bar) but still good.
