a cracking pub. very friendly, great music, nice setting, good beer... worth travelling for. only shame was that it closed so early! mralistair - 19 Jul 2007 23:31
great atmosphere though horribly smoky, good selection of live music - not much seating and quite small - in fact on warmer days many sit outside the front of the pub. glodwock - 31 Jan 2007 16:05
I agree with happy punter. It's a lovely cosy pub. Locals are quite friendly. Service good, beer good and the chippy next door is fantastic and uses dripping. Heaven ! anonymous - 8 Jan 2005 09:27
Serves superb local Adnams beer. With the Fish and Chip shop next door a visit here can quite simply be one of the best nights out in Suffolk if not the East of Britain, for those that appreciate truly fantastic fish n chips and a pint. Awesome... A happy Punter - 12 Nov 2004 11:48
