| We went, we ate, we left. Menu had the aspiration of "ambitious", but the food delivered failed to achieve. The bread and butter pudding was awful. Service was good. | Mine Host - Mark - is a man wose fortitude, intelligence and humour is beyond redoubt. He and his team run THE BEST venue in thoroughly the best of the South Coast. | Well what can I say? Staring with the venue, The Roebuck is simply the best restaurant you can find! It is tastefully decorated and the blend of curios around the restaurant is thoroughly entertaining. Even the loos are perfect. The food and ales are simply the best in Hampshire, no let me correct that! They are the best in the South of England. Mark and his team combine to produce THE VERY BEST evening you will ever enjoy in your ENTIRE life! So in short The Ruebuck is the best place you will ever find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
