New landlord/manager since the beginning of the year, trying to resurrect the place. The owners intend to spend a lot on a refurbishment soon. At present it hosts 'walk around, pound in a glass' strippers wed & friday afternoons in a curtained off section of the pub, which for me makes up for there not being any beer worth drinking yet. Give it time. Pool table and quite a friendly place. Car park at the back.

It's changed now. Alex and Sheena left over a year ago and the Miller family from Eastenders run it now. There are little tell - tale signs that it is going to the dogs, and the prices are high (2.50 for a courage best). It's not too nice now, when before it was quite pleasant

I really enjoyed my stay at this pub, which was run by a scottish gentleman called Alex and his wife Sheena. They left the pub and new management took over on November 2nd, so I don't know what it's like now.
