Haven't been to this pub, and can't say I'm impressed by the reviews, but can anyone tell me what real ales, if any, they serve here? Thanks everyone.

Ah, the cat piss. Well known for it.

Don't worry though the old fags from mlc will be playing AGAIN soon. You know, the old tossbags who play other peoples songs for profit BUT do NOT declare their earnings from it.

Maybe they can help clean up Sue's filthy mouth and the dog shit as well, whilst they are there.

Report the buggers, I did:

This pub smells of cats pee but once you get past that it's OK. Sue is great fun and has a great voice. Her food is lovely. Worth a visit when you have a cold and can't smell anything. Otherwise very good.

MLC are back again by popular demand on the 16th July. Playing 1st rate 'Classic Rock' from the last 30 years. Look forward to another packed house.

NB: BITE is not about suggesting or accusing hosts/bar staff/managers etc. of fiddling - if you have any proof that's what the police are for. BITE is also about letting new pub goers know what is going on e.g. give them a choice. A lot of places don't keep thier web sites up to date so we choose to comment in this way - part of customer service I call it - ever heard of that?

That MLC bloke is a pain in the arse. I'm sure the pub people know when you are "playing". Give the constant posts across various pubs a break. That is not what BITE is about - 2nd rate music.

Anyway to the pub, Carpenters still appear to be there. James's visit last Thursday found the gents in a disgusting state. Pride @2:11pm was cloudly and had either been tapped too early or prior spills had been filtered back. IT WAS NOT FRESH. Latter is illegal.

Customers were normal dodgy type drinking fizz back lager. I doubt they have the sense (or required taste) to realise the "hosts" (and we use that term loosely) were back on the fiddle.
