| This place has changed hands recently and is now looking much better. I've been there a couple of times now and have been very impressed with the new "look", friendly staff and posh food! Amongst their other dishes they serve traditional pub grub but with a twist and of a much higher standard. I guess this would now be classed as a gastro pub. | There something not quite right about this place I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's because it feels like it wants to be a village pub but the management would rather they were running a restaurant. It certainly isn't cheap. 16 quid for steak and chips?
