| Nice for a drink as this place has bags of character and good ale. New owner/manager seems like a decent bloke. This place has a lot of potential as a hotel but it is very run down and in serious need of a refurb. Rooms are not so much dirty as just f****ed. | For accommodation;The welcome was warm and the staff helpful but our room was shabby with peeling paint. The owners have only been there 6 months and promise a refurb.It doesn't have its own parking and the roads around are all limited to one hour during the day, or else you pay in a car park.Good central location. jillk - 31 May 2008 19:54 |
