Was in here last Friday. Had a perfectly pleasant few Pints with friends. A good local Boozer, with friendly ,decent Barstaff who are good at their Job.

Good frendly if basic boozer.Does what it says on the tin.Looked better in the 90's when the bar was in the centre of the pub mind.

A good old fashioned unpretentious boozer. Hasn't been decorated in 35 years, but who cares.
Half decent smoking area too.

Nice Old fashion styles Pub with good Old fashion customer service all the staff & other customers seem pleasant and polite. At least it’s Not full of self centred wanabes/show-offs and fake designer wearing customers posing at the bar all night. Good Pub for Real drinkers in my opinion.

I still use this Pub at least once a week and have been doing so since 1975 and I still find it as good now as it ever was. Its still a proper working mens Pub. Not Posh or tarted up I admit but its what a Pub should be in my opinion. It serves a good Pint of Guinness & sometimes has a good Real Ale on as well. Theres always a good crowd of regulars in to talk to and have a laugh with and the staff are always very good & friendly so I would agree with tottenhamsean try it you may enjoy a proper Pub not a plastic manufactured one.
