The pub has been under a different manager for around 10 months now, and is a great place to meet friends for drinks or go out and eat. The staff are all friendly and nothing seems too much bother for them. Unlike most Wetherspoon pubs, it has a lot of natural light, and makes for a pleasant atmosphere. It isn't the newest of pubs, and could do with a lick of paint here and there, but when you take into account all of the above along with its location and very competitive pricing, it is your best bet in Oxted and the surrounding area.

Still about as downmarket as it is possible to go, sad old alkies sponging benefits propping up the bar in the morning, and drunk chav teenagers in the evenings. Depressing.

Does this place take on a different persona at night? We were there recently for a Friday lunch. Adequate for the chain. Shoppers and oldie lunch crowd in. No problems noted. Beer ok.

This pub is a disgrace, noisy, unruly yobs are left to do as they please. Tables are covered in dirty glasses and plates. The so called Duty Manager doesn't even look over 18yrs and is not in control of the premises.
Don't bother.....

Nice enough place to eat and drink especially if you are on a budget
