This pub has CLOSED DOWN. It is no longer open. It is an ex-pub.

Pretty sparse place but it serves good beer. Don't ask for port, they didn't know what I was on about. A clean place, pretty airy. Lighting is awful and the place can fill with washed up pissheads. Nevertheless a good atmosphere and you could do a lot worse than drink here.

Used to visit it when it was the Queens Railway Tavern, very good Lagers & Ales good reasonable pricing excellent staff alway pleasant, have visited on the way home after work several times never any problems, will be returning to next week as need a pint after another long week in London, food excellent not expensive, outside seating limited, but available in the hot weather,so near to station so easy to get home superb public house. much better than the Mad Bear & bishop and far cheaper than the new isambards on the station concourse, have held works retirement do's birthday celebrations all here wonderful

Frequently serving undrinkable bitter, served by staff with no interest or clue on how to serve beer, no sign the owner gives a Sh++
Deservedly mostly half empty - a waste of a good site crying out to be run by a professional

I had a pint with Colin and Mike in here once. The food looked good and the beer was tasty.
