Pretty sparse place but it serves good beer. Don't ask for port, they didn't know what I was on about. A clean place, pretty airy. Lighting is awful and the place can fill with washed up pissheads. Nevertheless a good atmosphere and you could do a lot worse than drink here.

Used to visit it when it was the Queens Railway Tavern, very good Lagers & Ales good reasonable pricing excellent staff alway pleasant, have visited on the way home after work several times never any problems, will be returning to next week as need a pint after another long week in London, food excellent not expensive, outside seating limited, but available in the hot weather,so near to station so easy to get home superb public house. much better than the Mad Bear & bishop and far cheaper than the new isambards on the station concourse, have held works retirement do's birthday celebrations all here wonderful

Frequently serving undrinkable bitter, served by staff with no interest or clue on how to serve beer, no sign the owner gives a Sh++ Deservedly mostly half empty - a waste of a good site crying out to be run by a professional

I had a pint with Colin and Mike in here once. The food looked good and the beer was tasty.

Decent, rarely crowded boozer (even when the football's on in my experience), selling a well-kept pride (and Directors, I think) for under £2.50. Food's okay - cheap and cheerful - and the bar staff are pleasant. A few tourists make their way in from the surrounding hotels but are generally quiet and keep to themselves. Other than that, the clientele is regular Johns, those that've finished work and fancy a pint. Simple, sweet, recommended.

This place is surprisingly quiet and little-known considering its location (half a block from Paddington Station). A decent selection of ales and some filling (if not inspiring) food of the heat-and-serve variety on offer. Mainly a sport pub, with a huge projection screen dominating the main room. Don't try to get served while the match is in progress!
