| Re-invented as a London boozer Been here twice in the last month, a Sunday lunchtime when football was on, jam packed full, a Thursday mid afternoon with only 3 other people in. | Went to watch the England v Wales game on Saturday 2nd Feb, really good atmos, free bar snacks (cocktail sausages, chicken, scotch eggs Etc) massive bigscreen TV and another 40 incher tucked away in the comfy bit in the corner so easy to see game, really good day despite the result. | nice big pub with good range of lagers and spirits. recently refurbished to a high standard, much cleaner and brighter but still keeps the chilled friendly atmosphere. resaurant highly recommended especially for the high quality of sevice. always a smile behind the bar and something going on at the weekends. ikol69 - 15 Jan 2008 18:09 |
