Cosy friendly local.

I could imagine it fills up very quickly in here and getting served may be stressful.

Slightly unusual location just up from the sea.

Nice selection of ales too.

Great little pub..well kept beer, good choice of food at reasonable prices, live music on Saturdays..what more can one want? And the absence of the over-hyped and boring Doombar is a real bonus.

Nice interior, packed out on a Friday night, full of locals in good cheer, nice to see a local pub doing so well. Perhaps a victim of it's own success as we didn't stay for a pint and went down to the Halfway House, will have to return on a quieter evening.

Lovely little pub with excellent food - the 18 inches of sausage is to be recommended. Three ale taps with beers including Sennen from Skinners and Spingo IPA - a rare treat outside of West Cornwall. Popular with locals and walkers, it was busy even early on a Saturday lunchtime but with friendly staff and clientele, you can see why. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
