Nice interior, packed out on a Friday night, full of locals in good cheer, nice to see a local pub doing so well. Perhaps a victim of it's own success as we didn't stay for a pint and went down to the Halfway House, will have to return on a quieter evening.

Lovely little pub with excellent food - the 18 inches of sausage is to be recommended. Three ale taps with beers including Sennen from Skinners and Spingo IPA - a rare treat outside of West Cornwall. Popular with locals and walkers, it was busy even early on a Saturday lunchtime but with friendly staff and clientele, you can see why. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

First things first - don't drive, the streets are tiny. It's a good locals pub with pretty good Sharps in a gorgeous village.

Small, friendly pub with live music on a Saturday night. At end of March 2010 stocked Skinner's Heligan Honey andSharp's No 6 (and one other but memory fails), both well kept. The food was £8 - 12 for mains, and good for the price. Traditional pub grub (burgers, pasta, ribs) supplemented with a variety of seafood dishes. Book ahead in high season. Well worth a visit.

Had a drink here on the day of the Black Prince festival. Still no Doom Bar but I'm getting a taste for IPA now. Didn't eat but the food looked pretty good.
