I went in this pub recently to have lunch with a mate and the food is very good for the price. It come resonably quickly with no rabbit food and if you do the deal after 12 noon it only costs 3 notes each. Atmosphere is a bit lacking but all in all a good pub.

First visited this pub yesterday. Complete contrast to the Blacksmith across the road. Light and airy decor, good lively atmosphere, prompt and friendly service. Perhaps a bit bland, like a lot of chain pubs, but a welcome find at the end of Orpington High Street's pub desert.

Friendly enough staff & clientele, a Q (Quality Inns) chain pub full of flashing slot machines, jukeboxes, pool tables & one of those dodgy cashpoints. DJs/Kareoke at the weekends. Decent front courtyard overlooking the busling High Street with round bench tables, useful for sitting out in a group in the sun.
No real ale. Cardinal sin. Tetley is £2 a limp pint. If it's the beer you look for, go to Wetherspoons.
