Classic country pub with good walking nearby and great views back over Manchester (really !). Good range of Lees beers are kept well. Includes a restaurant with picture windows but the same menu is available throughout the pub. The food is a bit more expensive than average but justified by the quality and interesting choices. The emphasis on food doesn't detract from the beer or pubby atmosphere.
