Called in a few times while staying at the Caravan site in Burrs Park, and the food was good but the beer was not always in good condition. They did change regularly so had a good turnover of ales. Noisy when a football match on TV. Interesting layout, and lovely child friendly garden.

Based in Burrs Country Park and next to an Outward Bound / Campsite, this Real Ale Pub offers affordable food with views of Steam Trains as they whistle by on the East Lancs Line. Definitely worth a visit.
